WELCOME

Christ Church is part of the Church of England and is based in Lye in the Black Country. We have a  heart for God and His Word. Our church was a gift to the people of Lye and today we are trying to continue that tradition by blessing our community with the love of God and the good news about Jesus Christ. Whatever your background may be, you are welcome to join us and learn more about who we are and the God that we worship.

SERVICES

SUNDAY 10.30AM

This service is usually Holy Communion with contemporary worship music and a children's group available for 3-11s during the service. People of all ages are welcome to attend. We also stream this service live to our Facebook page.

SUNDAY 6.30PM

This service is an informal service which is discussion led. We usually have a couple of worship songs, say some prayers and have a short talk and discussion around a Bible passage. No prior knowledge is needed to attend.

FRIDAY 12PM

This service is quieter and more traditional than our Sunday Services. We follow a midweek Service of the Word based on the Common Worship liturgy. You can join us for coffee at Open Door too. All are welcome.

Events and announcements

Interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith? Seeking to know God?

Periodically we run the 10 week Christianity Explored course and also the Alpha course.  Both are for people with faith or no faith who want to find out about God, Jesus and our reason for being here.  Email office@christchurchlye.org.uk for more information.

THE WARM PLACE

Over the winter we do not want people to be going cold, especially with the cost of living struggle that we are going through as a nation at this time. So every Friday we will be opening up a warm space within the church building and also providing a warm lunch (Soup and Cheese). All are welcome to join us, whether you want to drop in for a short time or to make the most of 4 hours of warmth.

"The Warm Place" will begin Friday 7th October and will be available between 11am-3pm weekly.

If you would like to offer any support to this initiative please get in touch with the Church Office (01384 894948).
